意外に難しいTimer
Timerの役割は、文字通り、時間を測るアレと同じだ。prepered speakerは別にして、トーストマスターズクラブでのVote-Counter , Ah-counter ,よりもTimerは難しく、重要性が高いと感じた。
なぜなら前者は、スピーチの進行に影響を及ぼすわけではないが、Timerはspeakerの残り時間の情報を提供するので、それらとは違ってスピーチの進行や成果に重大な影響を及ぼす。
日頃、人の話を聞くのにタイマー片手に聞くことはないので、貴重な体験だ。話すときはあっという間に時間がすぎるが、人の話を聞くときは意外と時間が過ぎるのが遅く感じる。
タイマーは、残り時間に応じて、緑、黄、赤、の目印を掲げる。それと同時に、時間を記録し、報告する。いやはや本当に忙しい。
本当にやってみて思ったのは英語で数値を言うのは戸惑う。何事やってみて気づくことが多い
ご参考。以下は、役割紹介の一例だ。

As Timer, I will time the Prepered speech speaker, the evaluator and Table Topics speakers.
I will also indicate your rest of time , by using the green, yellow, and red screen of zoom.
For example, in prepered speeches, I will show the green in 5 minutes, the yellow in 6 minutes, and the red in 7minutes.
also,in evaluation session, 2 is green, 2.5 is yellow, 3minutes is red.
in table topics session, green is 1, yellow is 1.5, red is 2minutes.
